The first run of the EXTRA/NORMAL “You Decide!” Project is here!

Last month I asked you guys to vote for what character you want to see featured in the previous round of chapters. It was a close battle but, in the end, Ragyou claimed a narrow victory over Charlotte for title of December Best Girl! So what’s everyone favorite gyaru up to? Tah-dah!

“Itadakimaaasu!” Grub’s on! Now it’s time to dig in as Ragyou prepares for a feast! One might not guess it but, despite her dainty appearance, few people on campus are quite as good at polishing off plates upon plates as Ragyou is. The girl can eat like no one’s business and she absolutely loves food. Especially that which harks back to her heritage. And not to worry. She shares. If you remind her. While she may mind her table manners as a general rule, the more food there is, the weaker her self-control becomes. And if you should ever see her reaching up to tie back her hair… well… get ready for a disappearing act.

Okay! Not gonna lie, it was pretty tough coming up with exactly what I wanted to let this image be. I wanted these to be more than just basic pin-up style images of characters just standing around, looking pretty for the camera. I’m sure there’ll be a few of those. But I want these to really show candid moments in the lives of the various characters. Doing things you may not otherwise get to see them doing in the story because… well… the urgency of the story kinda dictates not getting to see a whole lot of mundane activity. That said, Ragyou was mostly so difficult because almost everything I could think of revolved around how much of a social butterfly she is. And my wallet was telling me “don’t you dare tell that artist to include more than one character.” So yeah. Ehehe… I am the poor.

On that note, EUDETENIS did a fantastic job, as always, bringing Ragyou to life. If you’d like to see the process, he actually streamed it HERE. Ragyou was a bit into the stream, but I recommend watching the whole thing, regardless. And if you wanna watch cool art streams to chill music, then follow him! I’m really looking forward to the next one of these we’ll do! Speaking of which…
